OK, not the most serious of topics.....

I am the Imelda Marcos of motorcycle gloves....have a nice little stash....a pair here, a pair there....try some out....bargain here etc...

anyway I finally wore a small hole in a nice pair of Dainese Hellracers on the thumb...

throw em
use em as gardening gloves
put em in the 'for sale' section for free so someone can......would anyone want em so they can saw a leather patch on the thumb tip?
should you list em for free so some young chap can use em until he can afford a new pair??

Keep em, nail them to the garage wall and remember how many memories they gave you.

I normally have a couple of winter and summer gloves, and a couple hanging around just in case you misplace/damage/wet/lend/etc so you can always find a pair to fit the occasion.

Uh-oh ... what's going on here?

Old gloves went straight in the bin.

I also wore through the thumb ... which had me thinking - how much protection would they offer? If I can wear through them from just gripping the bars I'd hate to test them on the road ... especially as they approach the end.
