oem s2r rims - painted?

I want to change the color of my white rims. The first thing I need to do is to remove the white color with sandblasting. Does anyone know if the oem rims are painted or powdercoated?

Cool! Thanks! Now to decide whether to paint or pc. and what color. At least, now I know what to do about taking off the paint. If I paint tho, i can just do a light blast or sand then re-coat a new color. If i powdercoat, I'll have to sandblast off. another option is to just beadblast and clearcoat, depending on how the raw aluminum looks after beadblasting.
