why does it have to be washed?

part of why mine is so special is the protective coating of grime on it. it took me 4 years to get the color of the engine case right. it now stands out because it's not that bright shiny gray Grin

Juan's beautiful M1000 will indeed be the first BOMb here on the DMF.  Just have to get it written up and get a page to display it on here on the DMF.

Imo, washing should only be required when the dirt is not  an integral part of the bike.  I nominate Knight's bike WITH dirt.
