Well, we've decided to do a "Bike Of the Moment baby" instead of the Monster of the Month which limits the # per year to 12...

The BOMb will rotate every 10 to 14 days and the focus will be on the true riders!

Clean and nicely modded bikes which show a particular flair for design and are more home-built instead of shop-built stuff (kinda odd that I'm typing that, eh?).  We'll still showcase full shop built specials (not for any longer then 10-14 days), but with 24+ BOMb's per year...the focus shifts a lot more to the really cool, nicely modded, well loved Monsters that most of us own.

Submissions can be sent to either myself or Juan here on the DMF and we'll try to have our first one up in a week or so.  Submissions should include the following:

Several large hi-res pics of your bike after you've cleaned it
A magazine style article (write about you as well as the bike) about the bike, why you bought it, why you love it, and what you've done to it (as well as what's next...)

Also, if anyone has any ideas on how to improve the BOMb....  please send those to me.

Thanks much,
--Stuart

I nominate Juan's M1000 for the first BOMB.  Juan, your mods are tastefully done and you've done a great job with the photography to showcase your bike.

i dig this idea, my only suggestion (which i may get a beat down for) is to emphasize bikes that ARE NOT a bunch of bolt ons.
just my opinion.

That's just it RB...  With over twice as many features per year, the focus of bikes won't be 'one bike is better looking than another' but rather a more true cross-section of the bikes that make up the DMF.  Feel free to nominate anyone's bike that you enjoy including your own.

You're bike is a prime candidate!

I second that.  It's one of the most original Monsters I've seen.
