sounds like a potentially deadly dealership.   The idea of bringing ducati in is so it won't cut into harley sales, but it will expand the dealership.

Is it like when OCC brought in Ducati?  How did that turn out anyway?  Huh?

No longer a dealer.  Probably one of the shortest lifespans for a Ducati dealer

well it should have been H-D/Mv dealer until harley sold mv, which i think in the long run will turn out to be a big mistake by harley.

if mv's f3 takes off and then they make a smaller cheaper brutale based on that, you have the makings of a potential new "ducati" (where ducati was 5-10 years ago) to compete with the present state that ducati has now become.

Many of the Buell dealerships picked up other sportier brands to fill the gap. Triumph was a popular choice as well.

Don't worry, grasshoppah.  They brought the McRib back.  So it's not over yet.

So, um, will these HD/Ducati stores even sell motorcycles or will it be all clothing, leather jackets and espresso cups?

Another Ducati dealer.  Since when was having more choice a bad thing?   Why care what else a new Duc Dealership sells as long as they offer a convenient additional location and some willing and competent service.

Funny thing, I was in downtown Chicago recently and stopped by what I thought was a H-D dealership to pick up a ball cap.

Not a bike in the place, other than the couple ancient ones on permanent display up near the ceiling. All clothing and trinkets. WTF?!?

I'm glad they took away their license, if that's the case.  Either way I hated Ducati's being sold by Sr.

One of the Ducati dealers in Sydney also sells BMW & H-D.

I don't see a problem.
