what battery did you end up using? Also how do you like the Dart screen?

i put a dart screen on my m900 for the trek to vegas from dallas. worked nicely, appearance wise: not for me - but it does work.

The battery is the following:
XTA12B-BS Xtreme Permaseal Battery

From:
http://www.batteriesplus.com/product/33716-XTA12B--BS-Xtreme-Permaseal-Battery/558-CC/4191-Motorcycle-Batteries/125710-Ducati/Monster/750CC-1997-to-2002.aspx

Decent price, $63.   bacon

I like the Dart screen. I haven't taken the Monster out on the highway but it seems to work really well. Yesterday was a little chilly outside and it did a great job of blocking the wind at a brisk pace of 45-50mph.  waytogo

Fantastic job!!  Great color combinations!!!   drool   waytogo   [moto]   chug

Find a way to get a polished can back on there -- one with a classic look like the SC.

Very nice.

Next step.... get rid of those tyres, ...seriously!
They are the most confidence sapping nervous tyres I've ever ridden on and now they've been replaced on my SC its like I've been given back the joy of a smooth handling bike without worrying about what little road mark my tyres will track along next.

I'd never seen that oil temperature gauge. That's sweet.

Nice job, man. I think I want to do some powder coating this winter. Need to figure out a way to warm up the garage.

Yeah, that's on the shopping list. Most likely after the holidays sometime.  bacon

Really? I haven't put any serious riding time on them. I'll keep that in mind when I finally get to take the bike out on a spirited ride.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
I'll be making some new oil lines this weekend. The current lines are in poor shape.
I also ordered some tasty Rizoma fluid reservoirs.  bacon

Wow, I wish I had the time/money/know how to make my 96 m900 look like that...

I'm not terribly familiar with telling bikes apart, but is that not a dry clutch?  With all the other bling and shiny bits on there, why no open clutch cover?  Of course, if it's a wet clutch, don't mind me  Roll Eyes
