Uh-oh ... what's going on here?

« on: November 19, 2010, 01:03:35 PM »

In case you guys don't venture out of Ozmo-land (kinda like me) ... you may have missed Monsta's rebuild thread:

http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=42314.0

Now, obviously, most of that stuff is way above my intelligence level ... but he has created a damn fine motorsickle. So fine, in fact, that he picked up a couple of awards at a recent (and apparently quite serious) Italian bike show over in Perth. Link to the business end of the above thread:

http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=42314.120

So congratulations Monsta on a job well done, hope you have sorted out your few remaining gremlins.

+1. I've been following that thread, (as well as truckers). Two of the best threads around on the DMF at the moment.

Well done mate, your bike looks awesome...

*best Elvis voice*  thank ya very much..   Smiley

main gremlin is still there,(base gasket)  but every thing else is sorted.  I may get to the base gasket this weekend, but I've got to get some domestic stuff done or the mrs will... well, you know..

really looking forward to riding it to see what difference the mods have made, just need 1 more day to sort it!
I still want to get it on the dyno and get a good tune, I'll update when that happens..   waytogo

maybe we'll see the ol girl on the cover of a mag someday...

Been watching it keenly also, not that I know a great of what has been going on in either thread, especially in truckers thread!!
Love the look of the back end on your bike Monsta, it looks so fat and tough with that full hugger on it.
