I have decided to order a set of Sil Moto's megaphones for my 2005 M1000. I don't think there will be any problems mounting these on bike. However, the Moto Wheels site only list these for M600-M900. Does anyone here have any first hand experience with fitting these pipes to a M1000?

The mounting hardware may be slightly different as the 05 frame is different than the m600-900 series.

Wow, I can't believe I get an answer from the source so fast.  Thank you.  Smiley

So, "slightly different" as in it can be done easily or "slightly different" it can't be done with out some fabrication?

It has always been fairly simple. Sometimes you have to slot the holes in the bracket that hangs the canister. Sometimes it needs spacers or longer bolts.
We have not installed that specific system on a M1000 so I could not tell you exactly.

They are ordered.  It's going to take a little while though.  MotoWheels is out of stock and so is Sil Moto in Italy, so they have to be made.  They should be here in 2-3 years.
