It was never going to happen....... Unfortunately Australia had just as much chance of getting it as I would to bed Jennifer Hawkins!

I think you mean that we don't have enough money to ensure a long lasting legacy to world football
Now maybe the FFA can sort out some of the crap going on in the a-league ... no world cup probably spells the end of the NQ Fury I'd guess. Problem is I think they will spend the next 2 years trying to justify the government's decision to throw money towards the bid
