I was nice and cozy on my way to work this morning in my 5000lb cage, and the outside temperature read 12 deg (F).  Saw a guy on a supermoto cruising along in traffic.  No fairing, no handguards... NO THANK YOU!   Shocked

I've ridden down as cold as 9F on my M750.  I've also ridden to work before and wound up riding home in the snow.  This happened twice on the M750 and once on the 900SS.  Walking into the bank to cash my check I got some funny looks because I was caked in snow ~

That's about my limit. I feel the cold. I'm ok with the heat, have ridden in 47-50 deg C and glue melted out of the helmet. The cold I don't like.

He Man, you're a better man than me to be riding in that kind of nastiness.

I'll wait for Spring.

If a Honda= rice burner, then what is a Ducati?

Is that how you treat your bike?  Shame Sad

While driving home last night coming out of NYC, in blizzard like conditions,  I passed a poor S.O.B. on a BMW.  I'm sure he was hating life at that moment.

Scary shit I'll bet, snow is no fun for me. I love sliding the cage around in the snow, the Duc, not so much.

That's damn cold for anything more than 15 mins.

Interesting you say the Gerbings NFG at 17F.

I'm planning to add some Barkbusters for frigid riding, to accompany my Polly bar heaters.

let me correct that, you dont feel the heat from them anymore at that temp, it pretty much just keeps your hands mildly uncomfortable.

Dont forget that i dont have handguards. if i did, they would work much better.
