He Man, why don't you try the Buell ones? If you have bar ends all you would need are a couple of large bolts that fit through the holes in the lever pivots and you are done. They are not expensive, go with your Buell theme, and you can drill some holes on them in the summertime, then tape them shut for next winter. Get them now before HD gets rid of the stock.

I ride because I enjoy it.

does not
look enjoyable.
Yeah seriously.
WTF is wrong with you HeMan?
Good job boy.

it pretty much just keeps your hands mildly uncomfortable.
mildly uncomfortable sounds way better than any pair of gloves i've ever owned.

He Man,
would you consider a Polar Bear dip in the nearest Lake for 2 minutes when the temperature is like 15 degrees ?

About 10nyears ago I made the trip a couple of times from Marin to Sacramento (Folsom) at temps around 32 deg. pretty miserable. The thing that prevents me from riding here in Oregon when there is ice or snow is that...

let me correct that, you dont feel the heat from them anymore at that temp, it pretty much just keeps your hands mildly uncomfortable.
Dont forget that i dont have handguards. if i did, they would work much better.
Ya ya got it. My heated grips are similar, I can feel the heat at 15F but, the wind still make the hands hurt. Windguards would rule.
I would guess all else being equal, heated liners would be best, but cost and convenience make heated
grips satisfactory.
In snow and salt country I have no need for riding (commuting) any colder than 15F.
btw, if I didn't say it before, you're nuts.

+1
I passed a guy on a Harley yesterday driving into Queens with the temp around 30- it didn't look appealing.
I get the chills just reading this thread.
I'm headed down to Florida for a few weeks where I can shake, rattle and roll around on my Superglide.

it really isnt that bad if you are properly geared up. Ive been riding back and forward to school everyday since that snowy day. Though i probably would never ride in the snow again, i had to bust out the water hose to clean the salt off my bike.

I just took the M750 out today to fill the tank. It was 28*. My hands were frozen but the rest of me was ok. Glasses kept fogging up in the helmet though. My bikes are stored and I'm officially done on two wheels till the spring. It's makes for a long winter when you're staring at your bikes in the garage all the time.
