Johny Ducati in Estacada heading out of town north and then again heading East out of Stevenson - Yes?

I was coming back from Ripplebrook through Estacada about 1:00 PM-ish.  Then headed home.  Got home about 2:00 ish.

Were you riding, Chuck?  Don't know how I could have missed you.

Didn't go to Stevenson.  Must have been some other handsome devil that looked like me.  Smiley

Lotsa Ducatis out on Saturday!  Of course, I was up in NW P-town near MotoCorsa, so seeing numerous Ducs on a sunny day up there is to be expected.  Wink

First one was a black Monster 696 I parked the SS next to at Zupan's around 10-10:30am.  Then shortly therafter I heard another Duc go by on 23rd, but couldn't see it from where I was at the tables in front of Peet's Coffee.  Went up to MotoCorsa, then headed out on their little test-ride loop before making my way back down to EDR.  Found a pair of Icon Field Armor kevlar undershorts on closeout, so I picked up a pair.  *shrug*  It's better then nothin' when one is wearing jeans around town.

Mid-90's Monster 900, red over bronze frame.  Leo Vince high-mount cans, in aluminum, stainless, or Ti (couldn't tell which).  Stopped at a light on those convoluted streets between the west end of the Ross Island Bridge and the onramp for I-405/Hwy26 at 6th Street, ~7:20pm Friday night.  Rider was fiddling with his silver/chrome Napoleon-style barend mirror.  I was sittin' in the cage right next to ya.  Notable: Rider had red-framed sunglasses on under his helmet.

Wow, that a detailed description. Shocked

Did you get the color of the riders eyes too?  Wink

No you wanker... sunglasses.  Otherwise, I was close enough I could have.  Wink

Details start to pop out when you're stuck at a stoplight and a cool old-skool Monster stops alongside.  Maybe 8 feet away for 45 sec to 1 min.

Oh, and what's up with seeing no other Ducs today?  Sallies.  cheeky  I was out on the SS... and got caught in the cold rain.  Had to stop by the Corsa Cafe to warm up.

Just followed a Dark Monster with low pipes from E84 onto 5S.  You turned off at the Terwilliger exit.  I was in the purple Honda hatchback.

Wow!  Lots of motos out today, even though it was a bit brisk.  [moto]  waytogo

Black Ducati ST (newer one with the later-style headlight) with bags, Stafford Rd overpass over I-205, around 2:30-2:45.  I was on the red SS coming up from the freeway, ST rider waved as they went by.

Yellow Ducati ST (older style headlight) riding with a YamaKawiHonZuki something-or-other in Wilsonville a short while later, at a stoplight along Wilsonville Rd.  Maybe 2:40-2:50ish.  Again, I was the rider on the red SS who waved while going by.

Red with white numberplate 749/999 in Newberg on Hwy 99, probably around 3pm.  That bike's color scheme looked kinda familiar.  Wink

Once the sun broke through the clouds, it was a beautiful day for riding through wine country!
