Started a little late (and still cold) from my house.  Cruiser Russ met me and off we went.

Ortega was dirty but ride-able.  Barely any traffic.  Gas in T-Mec.

We took 79 out to Warner Springs.

Then jumped onto 76 to head towards the coast.  An ambulance passed me soon after this first picture and went up Palomar.

I needed a stretch break in Pala.

I got to get out a little today too, before the rain this weekend. Although my ride didn't seem as fun as yours looks!

Like I said, it was last minute...  I flew in from the east coast a few hours before. Next Sunday we're going to head up the 33...  Wink

Jody is riding a CBR600RR now, BTW.

Hey! You know Tom?

Yeah, I met him on my birthday ride last spring when we went up the 33.  Doesn't he live in Long Beach or somewhere down there?  Really nice guy, takes really nice photos too...

Privateer, sorry to Jack your Thread...  Undecided

Think you can make it for our jaunt up the 33 next Sunday?  [moto]

Next time this route is planned give a 15 min heads up. I live in Temecula area and work in Oceanside and can get to San Juan in 20 minutes.
