Ducati in the Rockies 2011 Banquette

Saturday, August 16th
Ouryale House
215 7th, Ave., Ouray, CO
Beer: 6:30 to 7:30
Food: 7:30 to 8:30
Awards: 8:30 to 9:00
Cost: $25 per person

Hutch, the owner and head bottle washer at the Ourayle House, will be serving hand crafted, small batch, Beers.  There will be many types of beer to chose from and they change regularly throughout the year.  He accepts both cash and home brewed beer in trade.  Commemorative beers in bottles will be for sale, but buyer will be responsible for getting it home.

The food will be provided by a local caterer, Kat from Das Taco.
Menu: BBQ Beef Brisket w/ locally made buns
Herb-grilled chicken
Local potato salad (w/ light dijon-style dressing)
Everything will be made with local seasonal vegetables
There will be food options for vegans, vegetarians and people w/ a gluten free diet or other dietary needs.

During the banquette Awards will be given for:
1. Most Modified Bike
2. Most Shagged Tires
3. Wides Chicken Strips
4. Most Miles Traveled to get to Ouray, CO
5. Most Nude Ride (yeah, you read that right.)

10's a little late for me, believe it or not.  I am leaving here at 6AM unless things take a weird turn.  I will head straight on through Canon City then, with only a gas stop.  You will probably catch up with me on Monarch Pass since I am not planning to highball it.  Gotta keep some points on my license.  It has been an expensive year.      Either way, I'll see ya in Ouray on the patio.  Sorry to hear Shannon isn't coming.  I was looking forward to hanging out with her.

Gotcha!  I've been working twelves myself, but I am on the night shift so everything will hinge on if I can fall asleep tonight early enough to get up and over there before my system catches on. I will catch a nap and then hit the patio.  You will likely catch me on the way over, but if you see someone sleeping on a picnic bench with a Duc nearby, it will be me.

Well, made to Ouray about 5pm, set up camp, met up with Pete and gang from NM, had a good steak dinner, then met KRJ and checked out the Duc's. If you are reading this from home you shoulda came out the riding is gonna be awesome.
