have you thought about powdercoating the rest of the speedymoto covers black? it would make the yellow pop better and flow with the bike more (IMO) you could do the headlight ears/loop at the same time for very little extra im sure.

I would say do the footpegs too but for that to really work you would need to do the swingarm/case covers and that is a expensive and timely process in itself.

plus if youre going that deep its a good time to do the lightened flywheel/slipper clutch if you ever want to. then of course you need a black clutch slave to match the case covers. and if your getting into that then you should find a better clutch master and some custom lines(black right?). but then you need to match them and in that case you should get better calipers and custom lines there too. and if your going that far then you simply must..... custom lines(black right?)..... Grin

En route from another member.  Not sure whether his line will work with my rear brake line but we shall see....

Never thought about doing the rest of the belt cover black but not a bad suggestion.  Winter is still here for another 30+ days so I have plenty of time to burn cash.... coffee

although not a true slipper, they do work well. the same is in the 696.

I found out from the EVR folks that there is no true slipper in their lineup for the smallcase motors.
BUT he's thought about it.

BGB - what type of glue/fix did you use to get the S2R badge to fix to the tank?  Just got two more to put on the new tank...

I didn't read all 6 pages so I don't know if someone else mentioned this.  sorry if I'm repeating.

reroute the starter wire around the left side of the bike to further clean up the belt area.

and tuck that overflow hose somewhere it can't be seen.

Those are the side panel badges . I just used the backing that comes with them. They are self adhesive and went on with no problems......just peel and stick! I never saw anyone else with done to their bike and it looks like they were made to go there......  waytogo
Make sure that you get an idea where you want them before you apply.....do some measuring which I didn't, I just eyeballed it and hoped they were straight......

From reading bikeboy.org it seems that a 2 in 1 exhaust might end up robbing some power from the engine. Not a huge deal, but I would take it into consideration when dropping $$ on an exhust.

Update.....

Added the yellow/black stripped belly pan, SSR gas cap, clear front turn signals and integrated rear brake light/signals and CRG levers.  Have a healthy balance of yellow and black with the bike.  Purchased and installed a Marving midpipe and 2 in 1 exhaust.  Like the midpipe, hate the exhaust.  Not sure what to do regarding the exhaust.  Painted the stock udder flat black and threw it back on the bike until I figure out my next move....

Meanwhile, I picked up brembo radial master cyclinders from and 848/1098 to upgrade the brake/clutch.  Makes a world of difference now [moto]!  Brake feel is much more responsive.

Also got my hands on gold annodized rear sprocket flange, kickstand (stock one needed to be replaced) and a rear, front axle nut.

I ordered a 4Racing rearset OVER a month ago bang head and it still hasn't arrived.  Might have to go with plan B (Rizoma) if my shipment off the boat never appears.

Next things to find:
320mm rotors
10 spoke wheels
Exhaust

the 320 mm rotors on the front were brand new a couple years ago. They may have a couple thousand miles on them.
