S2r/S4r undertail -- interested?
«
on:

I am working on having a run of these made. ARCfab made this one and I have loved the look for a long time. It would match to the stock udder or any header with the same 2 pipe locations.
Yes/No, what would you pay?
It would be a Y piece, a curve pipe and a small muffler as pictured. The muffler will look different, probably will use something off the shelf for it, but the same idea will apply (i.e. oval, flat, etc)

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Single can under tail exhaust looks terrible IMHO. Needs twin cans, or something integrated into the tail/tucked under where the light would be. Otherwise, to me, it looks like something someone had made at a muffler shop.

you'll need to start looking at rear swingarm movement.

if it was tucked under the tail better it would look amazing, if the exhaust ended where the tail light is it would be perfect.

This may be more of what you're looking for.
Oh and for the love of God, stick some end caps in that tail chop!!!

that was the 696 from the Indy Grand prix 2 years ago i think.
the undertail flat exhaust took the place of the light.
really thought this would be the style they would go for the S4R replacement not the Streetfighter like they did.
The guy that built this one supposedly started offering them for sale.

While i can appreciate the skill involved with making this exhaust I have to agree that twin exhaust would be better.
Just my opinion
that is all
nothing follows

Anyone in Florida would have issues, since there was a law passed about the placement of the plate.

I've been thinking about doing an LED taillight for a while now, but the only thing that was stopping me was the glaring gap between the frame and the seat. I think this would do nicely
Do you have any side shots? What kind of midpipe compatibility are we talking about, or is it a full system?
As far as the two vs. one undertail goes, I think it depends on the bike. While they're not pointy like a lot of the Japanese, I've always thought Monsters have a pretty thin rear end. Tucking two big ass cans up there 1098 style would just jumble things up, but I agree the tip definitely needs to be located where the taillight presently is.

I have to disagree with others. I really like the look of the single can
I would love to have something like this for my bike.

That's no 696. Please note the 4V motor.
