ok... it started its life as a 696.

a 999 style tail light and tag system would just fine with this exhaust. i think the real problem would be the seat and cover. but i looks like he cut the seat pan as well.

How about a Desmo style GP exhaust? One under the tail, one in front of the rear wheel?

a gp style exhaust that is done well would look pretty sick, sort of a combo of boomtubes and underseat would be good if someone could do it right.

twin can like a 916, right?

i like the single can, but i think you might be right.

i like the idea of twin rounds, set slightly apart.

Just for the record the reason that has a single flat can is for tire clearance.

That's all that will fit under the tail of a Monster without frame mods.

I used to have a vid of the bike somewhere. Can't find it.

Wouldn't that muffler melt the plastic undertail?

Maybe Mark can look into this...

I presume you would need to relocate a lot of wires as well.

I guess it could easily be replaced with an insulated two-piece aluminum undertail.

Doug took them with his phone on the street in front of BCM.

The sound is limited by the can.

I just wish I had more time to fiddle with it myself.  I think something wider would give a better sound.  Keep the same height.  But then the price goes up.. alas...
