Hey Guys

Happy New Year.

I went for a 'quick' ride to Falls Creek last week with a mate.

Check it out at http://www.ducatispot.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30661.

Man I wish I could have come along, next time other than the little trip coming up.
I remember the Grenya road, it was a fav from our trip to WSBK.

Forget the Granya Road. Bogong High Plains Road is the go!

Great pics Ecster.  Did you find the white surface of the Bogong High Plains road really off putting?  I found I couldn't bring myself to trust it as it looks too much like loose gravel even though it's not.

Do em both, both ways, several times.  What could be better?

I know what you mean. The surface of the road reminded me of the Bonang Highway. When I rode the Bonang for the first time I felt exactly the same way.

However, riding the Bogong High Plains Road was different. Maybe it was because weather wise it was the perfect day for riding or simply that in the past year I finally got it in my head to trust the grip of the front tyre. The super tight downhill section was a different story. With loose stones everywhere that made it a bit sketchy. Otherwise what a magnificent stretch of road.

That has me seriously excited about the trip to and from WSBK, we are planning on the scenic route!
