TMI - How to get rid of skin ailments: monkey butt, athlete’s foot, cold sores - Tea Tree oil

I’ve recently discovered something that kills EVERYTHING you don’t want on your skin. Especially after a lot of riding in the hot weather:
Kills Athletes foot / Monkey Butt in 2 – 3 applications, once or twice a day.

(I’m not a Dr. - this is my own experience/study. Use at your own risk. Test it out first in small applications etc. )

Tea Tree oil – Available at amazon.co, Whole Foods, GNC and vitamin / herbs type stores.
Over the counter VERY strong. Smells like gasoline and wood.

Rub on / Q-tip on anything that you want to kill on your skin,
Fungal, viral, or bacterial. Works very quickly.

Avoid eyes, inner nose, very sensitive areas. Do NOT ingest. Not for open wounds.

Ti (or tea) tree oil is well known in Australia as a cure-all for skin rashes and the like. Very good anti-fungal and antiseptic properties.
Its distilled from the leaves and small branches of a type of melaleuca tree.
Dilute it with a bit of water first as sometimes it can burn your sensitive parts, best to do a spot test first.

If you urinate on your feet in the shower it will kill athelete's foot (at least that's what I heard). Good luck trying that with your monkey butt.

The hard-core Burningman crowd swear by Bag Balm, originally made for cow udders, apparently it cures _everything_...

+1 on tea tree oil and bag balm.

I'd avoid bleach, urine, and janitor in a drum though. Lips Sealed

Of course, the virus which causes cold sores is still lurking there, waiting to come back.

Cold sores pop up usually during times of stress. If you take a Lysine tablet once a week, you won't get the cold sore in the first place... and if you feel one coming on, take about TEN of them. Low lysine levels will consistently trip cold sores.

Get rid of the problem at the source,
go ride naked and nature will follow its course!
