Tank/plastic?  Custom?

Frame?

Engine?

Turn around time?

Are you willing to ship?

Any welding or other repair involved?

Some shops will take in a whole bike, some won't.  Not all painters will tear a bike down to paint a frame.

In addition to Steve Nunez, but not as local:

Steve Is excellent.

If you are willing to ship parts our very own humorlessdp

FYI most locals I know ship out for paint, so I wouldn't assume you want someone local, but I posted Steve who is local just in case.

Howie and I have also used ducpainter who he already posted up.

I would read  "body work" as you need repair work as well?  perhaps a ding?  or plastics repaired, so more detail might help as Howie suggested.

so.... Steve does custom paint locally, but I don't think he deals with repair work.

You can check the link I already posted for his info.  http://www.stevenunez.com

Steve Nunez (914) 207-1956 ~ Loft
216 Lake Ave , Yonkers, NY 10701

if you're looking for the dings to be repaired I really would suggest sending it to ducpainter, or checking the other suggestions that Howie already posted.  CCR is in Connecticut, not exactly local, but not too far either.

Sorry I have no other suggestions for you, you can always try a local autobody place if you're dead set on someone in your neighborhood.

Ah, Nate (humorlessdp, ducpainter didn't do my paint, wish he did.  Nate will reinforce the hinge (notorious weak spot) and treat the tank with POR 15 (prevents rust) as part of the job.

I would not trust an automotive shop with tank repair, just paint.
