Let me understand something.  It's an RX-8, right?  Like in Mazda?

Look at 1:10 in.  Doesn't that say 'Corvette' on the valve cover?  Like in American V8 pushrod V8?   applause

It's a corvette powered Rx-7. Pretty bad ass, they're doing all kinds of crazy stiff in the drifting community

Who is that guy? And why is he doing that instead of GP. He has the most control of a bike I've ever seen on video.

Ducati Factory stunt rider - among many other things.
Google Nick Brocha and you'll see he's too busy to do GP Cool
Unless you're a factory GP rider, maybe the stunt money is better?

The fingerdragging  Shocked that's a statement!

Simply amazing!

I saw an LS1-powered RX7 parked at a local mall once, which around here, was not something I expected to see.

They make a kit to drop a V8 into a Miata also.  I actually considered it (for a very short time) but I really like the way the Miata handles.  I'd MUCH rather have the handling.  I'm not into drifting or red light to red light racing.

Yup, the Ford 5.0 conversions are pretty quick, but real bears to handle.    The torque tends to use up rear ends as well.  I had a 1990 with a stock drivetrain (all my mods were to the suspension and brakes), but the most fun modified Miata I ever drove was a turbo-charged 1.8 M1 with about 200 hp and a LSD...nearly perfect balance of power and handling.
