Ah, maybe it was melbourne. Involved a car as well. Looked like an S2R 1000 with stock exhausts..

I believe it involved two bikes and a car and one rider dying at the scene.

yeah was Melbourne - from the Video seems to be a S4R - shows the speedo at over 200km/hr!!

The bloke on the video says he may have been doing as high as 120km/h (in a 60 zone). Unfortunately the footage raises more questions than answers. To me "embedded in the car" seems a bit dramatic but is used to attribute blame to a motorcyclist travelling at 'excessive speeds'.

"Police were investigating of [sic] speed contributed to the crash." Of course the police will find speed contributed to the crash ... if there was no speed there would have been no crash!

well that's just shit all round, pretty easy to see why the cops would suspect speed as a factor though, plenty of damage there. you can always rely on the media to beat up a story and with the speedo showing 210kph and 6000 rpm it does look dramatic, hope the cops have some evidence rather than just an "educated guess" if they're making comments on TV like that.
It's bad that one guy died but the poor buggers in the car had to be taken to hospital for shock, and they're going to have to deal with what happened regardless of who is deemed at fault.
take care guys and girls, it only takes the smallest error in judgement to end up as pecks paste!

sorry justo, didn't mean to put my pipe and slippers on there sonny.
