Bet most people don't walk up to their Monster and scratch their head wondering where they're going to put a crap load of WEAPONS!!
That thought made me laugh - thanks!!
This Samurai guy is wearing his uniform and carrying his weapon on his back:
option 2:
Though I think it's really his cowboy boots that complete the Samurai look.

I used to leave my weapons (tai chi spear/swords) in a locked case at the school. It was much easier than carrying them around.

My dojo is very traditional Japanese. If I were to take photos just for the sake of showing off, I would get in a SHIT TON of trouble. I've already gotten in trouble once with Sensei about something I said on the internet (which wasn't negative by any means) but pissed the hell out of him to the point of yelling at me on the mat in front of everyone. He operates his dojo very much like fight club:
#1 - The first rule of Fight Club is, you do not talk about Fight Club.
#2 - The second rule of Fight Club is, you DO NOT talk about Fight Club.
But I don't mind taking a photo of my weapons. =) I can do that.

I practiced at a traditional Aikido dojo when I was living in Seattle. I don't understand the "no pics" of you practicing at yours?

My first thought as well. Why don't you just leave your jo, bokken & tanto at the dojo? If it's that traditional and your sensei is that strict, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
I carried my bokken on my back for awhile. Then I just got smart and bought extra weapons and rotate an extra gi and hakima. I always have clothing and gear there in case I get out of work late.

We rarely allow photos in the dojo unless it is a seminar, a fundraiser, or a rank test and the friends and family are there.
Sensei's rules. I can understand that. There is a photo of me folding my Sensei's hakama at a seminar. But that was a candid so it was ok. Posing with my sword wouldn't be okay.

There is no where to leave the weapons and the dojo does not want to be responsible for student weapons. And I wouldn't want to leave my Iai there at all considering how expensive it was. Hell, my jo was pretty damn expensive and it's just an oak stick!

That's no good. We left our weapons at the dojo in Seattle. Plus, we always had extra on hand.
