That sucks, man. Hope things cheer up and you manage to make it! On the bright side, there's always that spare kidney  Smiley

You guys have to convince El Mat to finish our Epic Loop at DITR - he wants to start too early - no bueno.

I was reading Hell For Leather yesterday (seriously great site, btw) and they had an article that started off like this. "I know Ducati owners have a reputation of being a bunch of rich a$$holes who ride their over-priced Italian bikes to a coffee shop on Sundays so they can hang out with other Ducati owners who are also wearing Puma track suits and talk about how cool they all are, but let me introduce you to....". Well HFL, let me introduce you to "Ducati in the Rockies" where Ducatis are ridden, and ridden HARD! A Ducati event, put on by Ducati rides and people passionate about the brand. Sorry, but there are no coffee shops at the top of Red Mountain Pass! Feel free to leave you Puma track suits at home!!!

DitR Official Signature Cocktail
Though a close personal friend and Aprilia rider (don’t hold that against him) we were able to get world renowned Mixologist Charlotte Voisey to personally design Ducati in the Rockies it’s own signature cocktail.   The DitR Italian Margarita.  It is made with Solerno, a Sicilian Blood Orange Liqueur made in Italy and it is amazing.

Here is a link for the drink:

DitR 2011 Hotel Room Update:

Today is the “drop-dead-date” for the reserved room at the Best Western Twin Peaks in Ouray, CO.  I am happy to say that we have filled every reserved hotel room and one condo.  The only accommodation left at the BWTP is one 3 bdrm/ 2 bath condo that will sleep up to six people.  They will hold this condo today only.  You will need to call them directly and say that you are with “Ducati in the Rockies” to get their discounted rate, if you want this room.

There are plenty of places to stay in Ouray and I am sure that if you decide to come last minute something can be worked out.  If you need additional information, please let me know.

Ducati in the Rockies is one month away and we can’t wait to ride with you.
