It must have been that fourth broken vertebrae that gave me all the trouble. Jezz, if I had only broken three I'm sure I'd be fine! Tongue I can't put 400 miles in a car! Maybe that's why I couldn't look up at tonight's ball game to see the foul ball that came straight over the fence and landed about  a foot from me. That's really what I need... a foul ball in the head or neck area. Mmmm, how fun. It's one week shy of my one year broken neck anniversary and my life sucks just as bad as it did a year ago. I guess the fact that at least I can ride again is a plus but the rest sucks. Note to all other riders: don't hit turkeys. Makes good sense doesn't it? Tongue

Sorry to hear about that Brian.  Undecided  I recommend the Dogfish Head 120. At 20%, a couple of these and you'll feel no pain. ( http://www.dogfish.com/brewings/Occasional_Rarities/120_Minute_IPA/15/index.htm )   drink

Oh, and thanks for the MTB cassette offer. I'm definitely going to be doing some re-gearing before Mt. Washington. I'll have to switch to a triple up front as well.  waytogo

Thanks for the suggestions guys and I do, do all of the above, but laying some of my body weight on the bar is not the total problem.  My throttle is as stiff as (self edit).  There is not 1 mm of play like ...

there actually needs to be 3mm of play at the throttle, sounds like at the least, you need to have the throttle adjusted a bit along with the other stuff...
