Thanks to all you groovy people who wished me well and congratulated me on my recent cycling adventure. Y'all rock!   waytogo

oh, and Ron, as to your question about shipping:

I had RBM package the bike up in one of those cardboard boxes that new bikes get shipped in. Packaging, fedex and insurance was about $100. Got there in 4 days.

$100 isn't too bad, and I guess it was pretty much down hill for the ride home.
Hope you got some pics from the peak.  Or was your camera in your bag too??

I had my camera with me, but by the time I was rested enough after the finish it had started hailing like a mofo. I've got to check with my friends to see what pics they have.

don't you hate it when you're sitting really forward in your chair for like thirty minutes, working on something intently, and then you get up from your chair and start walking, and realize that you had cut off circulation to your manly region and one of your balls is asleep?  isn't that the weirdest feeling?  it's all numb and moving around but you can't feel it...like your arm went to sleep, except it's your ball.  anyway, back to work now.

haha... I know what you mean. A bunch of miles on a bicycle seat (if you can call it a seat) can turn your whole crotch-tal region into numbnut city. I was really worried the first time it happened to me. Luckily the feeling came back.  waytogo
