those plastic reservoirs are ridiculous..........all that money and they cheapen the thing with that.  otherwise I'm leaning in further and further but damn these designers forget the simplest things sometimes.

call me debbie downer if you want...but i'd take an s4rs any day over the streetfighter; i wouldn't need to think twice about it.  i guess the fighter is "radical", but it just seems like maybe they went a bit far with the radical stick.  i mean, there's already the funny looking kid of the group, that you kind of grow to love with time (i'm looking at you, hypermotard).  maybe there's some kind of headlight conversion kit for the 'fighter to retrofit an old circle monster headlight.  it just looks like chuck norris punched it square in the face, and it's shoved back a good four inches from where it should be.  well, that, and it looks like the frickin borg designed it.  the 'fighter might put out more power and be more advanced than, say, my s4r, but aesthetically there's no comparison for me.  older monsters are pure tits.

They just had a surplus of 749/999 pee cups in the inventory  Evil

I think the attitude of the machine (and of the bystanders) will improve when we can see, hear, and feel it for real.  It's not a bad thing either for the company to build machines which don't need to apologize for their performance.

I'm a big fan of the headlights. The high beams are really powerful, I'm told.

It's the diameter of the header that caught my eyes... drew 'em there just like a magnet, first thing.

No, seriously (sort of  Evil ), check this out:

Scha-weeet-ness!  I've seen four cylinder cars with smaller headers than that  Shocked

This is the first chance I've had to really study this bike and I like it.  A lot.  I like the beefier "old-style" trellis frame combined with the MV Agusta-ish design cues from the current line of Monsters and HyperMotards.  I like the weird, vented bits and magnesium-look details on the engine.  The tail is kind of derivative - too much like an anonymous sport bike for me - but the seat looks comfortable, and the "character" creases in the tank and other add-ons around there work together well.

Could this Duc actually have a range greater than 110 miles?!?  laughingdp

I don't mind the reservoirs; could be horrible in person though.  The SBK reservoirs are REALLY white...The only thing I CAN NOT STAND is that gigantic wart-like ridiculousness around the lower radiator - WTF  Shocked   Someone please, please, please, tell me that shroud just unbolts...

Oh well, I might have to look into this.  It's a very cool bike  Cool

620 anyone?  Just driven by a lil' o'l granny-lady to church on Sundays...

 Evil
