Cracked it open and there was my fresh brake fluid sitting right there on the slave flange.  Guess I've got a leaky piston seal.  Who has the best deal on Evoluzione?

Not at all.  Should be quite dry.  The red o-ring keeps the oil from getting from the engine into the slave (and vise versa in your case  Smiley )

Actually, after looking at mine, the motor oil can splash up into the slave area where the clutch push rod is up against the slave piston.  The o-ring prevents the motor oil (and leaking hydraulic fluid) from leaking out of the slave cylinder onto the engine case.

Don't know of any good deals going on lately.

I've never found any real "deals" on Evoluzione clutch slaves. I have just bought them online through Evoluzione. Several companies make clutch slaves, you might find an alternative brand for less money. I have never heard that one was more awesome than the others. Just picked Evoluzione from it's reputation, great quality, quick delivery, it worked as stated so I bought one for each of my Ducs. End of story. waytogo

So I went to the doctor today because, well, I just felt like I needed to.  After pissing in a cup and all the basic routine checks, she started questioning me.  20 mins later she strongly suggested I go see her shrink and prescribed me blood pressure meds and anti depressants.........  Damn..... never felt more crazy in my life until she started telling me that I was.....

Well, gee Beaver it's not like you've got anything going on in your life at the moment!  bang head  Remember that little Christmas gift I gave you? Now's a good time for that. Take her advice, she knows best. From what I hear high bp is the main killer of men. Contrary to most who think it's women.  Shocked  It seems that you're the type who'd like to be around to see his kids grandbabies.  waytogo
