No problem. I removed my post. Please remove yours. That's the response I was looking for. Thanks Dax! Just frustrated and needed some input is all. Peace!

I think we are all still in shock and understandably so.  I'm sure details will come soon.

No Ron,
NOT JUST YOU.

(in fact, my true feelings would rhyme with "truck that punt", and would probably resuly in a ban here ...because as everyone knows, this is not the board to express conflicting opinions on.)

Almost all models of the Grief Cycle have anger listed as #2, right after Denial.  Sunday I was just shocked and really did not think about the 88 year old bag at all.  Yesterday was when I became really pissed, and I have stayed that way.

I cannot imagine that many people would honestly feel sorry for the woman at this point of grieving, and the very suggestion sounds like it is coming from someone who is not emotionally involved in the situation - and I am not implying that you don't care fastwin.  Just saying how it sounds

I consider what this pregnant dog did to be negligent homicide.  Is that just anger talking?  I really do not think so.

My grandmother is 86 years old.  She stopped driving when she was 82.  I asked her yesterday what prompted her to put down the keys, and she said that she knew it was time when she thought that everyone was driving very fast on her neighborhood street, looked down, and was only doing 15 mph.  She understood at that point that SHE was the problem, and not the other drivers.

Driving old is just as bad as driving drunk!!!

This would be a murder charge if she had been drinking.  She was just incapacitated with age instead of alcohol. What the make the beast with two backs is the difference?

I also see the parallels between the two. They are both equally diffcult to convince that they need to hand over the keys.

See, You can be angry at the situation and be pissed at the woman for driving, but it's the differences in peolpes hearts that allows them to feel sorry for her.  Some people are Christians(or believe in a God) and some people aren't.  Some people believe in forgiveness and some people don't.  It's who YOU are on the inside which determines how you'll handle things on the outside.  That woman should not have been driving, and I was just as pissed as everyone else when I first heard about it.  I ranted about "older" drivers should be tested annually.....  But this WAS an accident.  She did not mean to do it.  I could only imagine how she feels, and for that reason alone, I feel sorry for her too.....
