comes with centerstand.

at that price though, it would need to be an 1100S for me to bat an eye at it. kbb has it at 8830, so it probably a "fair" ask, but I'd be arguing for 7500 and a clear windscreen. Seems more along the lines of what you could actually get for one on the market right now if you were trying to sell it. eurosport seems to not have much problem with holding a used bike for a long time with no rush to sell it, a la their Benelli, and they had that old 89 or 90 silver/red supersport listed for a long time

I like this one better: http://www.eurosportcycle.com/used%20bikes/yellowst4.JPG

(needs aftermarket or dp seat though)

Yes, that is Charles de Castro's moto.  When we were at Charle's house two years ago, he let Alan ride it.  At that time, Alan was thinking about replacing his Sprint.  He loved it - extremely well cared for bike that was more sport than touring.  Charles talked with Alan about it for a long time that day.  Always had time for everyone.

I miss Charles.

I miss Charles too. I met him a few times, a few times at stuarts, once at a bar in downtown dallas where he got the watch. kinda makes you want the bike because it was his then. put a little CDC plaque on it somewhere.

I personally have ridden my ST4s @ 90+ beside Charles on this bike and at one point he dropped back and when he passed me he was doing somewhere well over 130mph cuz that was where I stopped and had to  bow down in awe. He was a very good rider.  [moto] waytogo

This bike hauls the mail and sounds awesome with the DP exhaust. I would love to have a set of those on my ST4s! This would be an honor for any one of this group to own. Step up people!

Hot rod motor. Too much for the street. Corse pistons, cams and head porting all done by the previous owner. Great for track or race bike but the bike is neither. No wonder it only had 2,500km on it... it was un-ridable on public roads. It would f#@king fly all right!! It would run like crazy with the throttle pinned but didn't like any other speed. And no I didn't get to take it for a test ride before I handed over the check. Had to spend cubic dollars and time. Went back to stock SPS cams, those aren't cheap. Jordan at AMS did the "de-tune" work and did the very best that he could. Had to ditch the slipper clutch too (it was an original EVR/STM... no bueno) and put in a stock 1098 clutch kit and basket.

Between the trashed grabby slipper and a motor that burped/stalled and wouldn't idle it made every stop sign, lighted intersection and school zone a nightmare. It's semi tolerable now. It's a thing of beauty all right, just hard to live with. Want some full race SPS cams?? Barely broken in!! waytogo [moto] laughingdp

The rest of the board has heard this story from me like a hundred times! I promise this is the last time. applause laughingdp

haha. nope. my built motor will only have 2 valves per cylinder. it will simply be a hotrodded version of my M900. Cases are all but split to pull the crank so far. Off to get an SPS style crank job waytogo.

I'm thinking we should have taken it to Bonniville during speed week and see just how fast it would go. I'd love to go out this year. Now if they could just run the WSBK race the same week as speed week!

That's cheating and I'm offended.  When's the protest and where?  Oh the mens club - maybe we should show in force to dissuade them from this horrible thing they do  popcorn
