Yeppers. Did a solo Muenster ride yesterday and had no idea the northerly winds would be so strong. Knew the front was coming but the forecaster's claims of low to mid 60s all through the afternoon was flawed by the major wind gusts outside of town! Knocked the wind chill down at 70-80 mph cruising speed and had to fight major blustery cross winds on a full fairing bike. No damn fun at all. Glad I strapped on a pair of winter gloves and glove liners to the back seat. I needed them. Brisk doesn't describe it. Just glad I didn't try it today!! bang head My goal was to go Friday with no wind and 75+ degree temps. Best laid plans...  Tongue

I toughed it out during my Friday morning commute so I could enjoy the ride home.  It was very nice.  [moto]

The morning ride... not so much.

how much light were you expecting? a couple of folks have had jordan put on auxilary lights on the MTS1200's for longer touring with more potential night riding. Brighter than hell. From the factory, I can't think of a motorcycle in the sport category that has a very high-output headlight. An HD UltraClassic like Dax's with the three large lamps is the closest to real nighttime visability, but that is a whole lot of lamps to get there too.
