Well, I hired my first employee. Full time.
One of my old customers, actually. He ended up leaving his job and a few days later I hired him here.
This will really free me up to do a lot of other things. Might be able to drop down to a 8-10 hour day soon
My largest customer is shifting more work my way. Probably an additional 40 hours a week of work for the next six months.
I'm also planning for the next machine already. There's a long run job (think 20 years here) that I could take over, but I'd need another lathe to put it on.
Things are happening.

Outstanding!! Way to go ML!! Business growing, hiring employees, etc. Hell, you might be the guy who turns the whole damn economy around.
I can push a broom, let me know when you need to hire another employee!
Seriously, congrats. I love this thread.

If I ever get big enough to move to a big building I'm putting in my own indoor range
You'd be welcome to visit.

I am, right now at this moment, reading about suppressor construction.
I have a modular idea in my head, and I can't seem to find a similar design on the net.
I'll have to make one and someone will have to tell me how it works. . .

Legally speaking, you'll probably have to be the one to test it. Or at least be present, at time of testing and then take the item back into your possession immediately there after.

I get the impression I should probably have my FFL in place before I even build it.
