North Texas is SHUT DOWN. Has been since the night before last. They're saying it'll stay iced over here until friday-saturday time period.

The gas station up the road from me is even shut down. Couldn't fill up my car  [laugh]


oh and monday night....we had THUNDAAARRRSNOW  [evil]

Yep, clusterf#@ked here in Dallas too. The wind was blowing ice cold air so hard around the edges of our front door (which faces north [bang]) that I put blue painters masking tape all along the sides and top. It has foam door seal tape but it was coming in like it wasn't even there! We have a "draft stopper" thing on the floor. Glad I went to the grocery store on Monday morning. I bet the shelves were bare by noon! Also glad I stacked up a shit load of firewood on the back patio which keeps me from having to run to the wood rack at the end of our driveway. North TX drivers suck anyway, this just makes it 100 times as bad. :P Probably a TX driver that "stuck" that landing in the pic! [laugh]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

Hey, even Arizona is getting the chills - according to the Weather Channel, it was 25 degrees this morning but felt like 18, tomorrow the high is in the mid 40s....but fortunately by Sunday we should be back near 70.

Holy crap it was COLD this morning!!

I'm blaming the Steelers and Packers for bringing this cold weather with them to the Superbowl here in DFW. Probably makes them feel more at home! [laugh]

Sunny and high 40's in Seattle.  ;D When it snows here it is often thundersnow as well...pretty cool, but probably not as good as yours.
