Solo seat

If we are talking about the DP solo/carbon seat, I weighted it along side the stock seat.  I'm digging for the specs I wrote down....I don't remember a "significant" weight savings.  At $700 for the seat, the ratio was about the same as replacing steel bolts with Ti IIRC.

Has any one tried to custom fit a 1098/1198 style seat to the older monster. Ideally, that is the look that I am going for. After all, it is a monster and what do we do to monsters,    Customize. Just trying to find a cool look, while still maintaining some comfort. As far as the weight goes, I think I can lose 20lbs of me for like next to nothing, fact is I will actually same money.

dont know what the tail from this one is but i love this bike....

its a 748/916 style tail.   odd brake setup there.  i also see split singles and maybe the rr exhaust.
