Formula one 2011 season (Spoilers included)

Didnt see a thread started for this yet.
Interesting changes for season...
Adjustable rear wings.
F-ducs out.
KERS back.
Bridgestone out...Pirelli in as sole tire supplier
And most interesting..."
the clause banning team orders is removed"
Could make for some interesting races in the later part of the season for a team like Redbull.

Pirelli could be a big problem, one set only last like 15 race laps, could be interesting if they dont find a fix, thats like 70pitstops during a race

Lol more like 3-5 depending on conditions if what you say is correct. More pitstops would be a good thing anyway. It can help shuffle the field a tad. I'm looking forward to a pretty competitive year.

Sorry in advance, but typing from phone...
Seems GP2 series has just been cancelled in Bahrain due to protests. Can't link to article, but was posted in New York Times. Article suggests F1 may have problems as well but things may settle by March 13 race.
I will link article when I get to a computer.

I was originally pretty excited about the season, as Pastor Maldonado is gonna be racing. I used to cart against him.
But then I saw that he sold out and is being sponsored by Chavez. It's just plain embarrassing. I remember hearing him say that he would never take government money. I hope his season is plagued with mechanical DNFs. Bastard.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't one of the owners of Mc/Mec the crown of Bahrain?

Is that because he went on to be an F1 driver and.........or do you really wish him ill will?

Wow, that's some serious projecting right there. And as jealous as I am that he's in F1 and I'm not (same could be said for any motogp rider), no, that's not why.
He's racing with blood money, doing something I personally heard him say that he would never do. He's got the talent, he doesn't need PDVSA to be in F1. He's racing with the money that belongs to the people that have been devastated in a silent 12 year long civil war why Chavez has been raping my country. He's racing with the money that has been stolen from me, my family, my friends, and countless other Venezuelans that have had their property expropriated for "the people" who never get a penny. But what pisses me off the most is that he's promoting Chavez, flying his Standart and presenting a false image of who he is and what he does to the rest of the world.
I used to be proud of Pastor, a fellow Venezuelan proving to the world what we are capable of. And he has. He has shown we are capable of dishonor and a complete lack of principles.
THAT is why I wish him a season plagued with mechanicals. If you wanna call it ill will, then do so; I'm not ashamed of it.

Obviously he didn't get that part of your original statement or worse he actually believed Oliver Stone's movie.

As long as I don't end up nailed to a couple of 2x4s for it, it's alll good.
