Why not post some photos? It would help those of us trying to visualize the problems you are having/had.

Thanks B.  It's already boxed up and ready to be returned though.

Like I said, I tried the first night and then had my dad to help the next night.

Again..it wasn't going to fit right without having to drill the holes larger.  Shaving down the part that connected directly to the brakelight would've also had to have been done.  Once we had it all together, it stuck out on one side.

WOAHHH

I'm not sure, but I  think Torrey was kidding. IZ, I think you were too.

I just want to be sure, before this gets to a flame war.

IMO the CW kit is the idiot here. the quality of the build could easily lead to one kit being simple to put on and the next being impossible.

I hope somebody contacted CW and told them how bad their experience with their product was. I suspect that some kits fit and others don't. Could be manufacturing inconsistencies at play here. The kit I bought for my bike fit like it was made by Ducati.

Definitely not an isolated incident as I had the same problem with my CW Kit.  I had to drill the holes out to be much longer... could have probably drilled new, separate,  holes if I had know they were that far off from the start. bang head

Is this a problem with new monsters only, or all monsters?  I have a CW fender eliminator on my S2r and it fit beautifully, much nicer than the cobbled together temporary solution I built out of old racecar parts, and they were the bee's knees from what I could tell of other people's opinions.

Someone mentioned the same thing earlier.  They fit the older Monsters good. I'm suspecting maybe it's a problem with the 1100's now after OBNOXS mentioned he had an 1100 also.

Gosh darn it. I wish I had read this thread earlier. I agree a POS. Very dissappointed when I opened the box.

Installed the cw kit a little over a year ago on an 09. No problems at all. I think it's great.

I have the evotech on my M1100 and it's awsome. The quality and construction is great and it was real easy to install, no drilling or anything and it puts the seat lock in a better spot than where the factory put it in my opinion.
