Hi guys/ gals,

Just to double check before I buy (I'm from the UK and it would be hard to exchange lol), I need the type 2 cam from >here<  for my 2004 620 right?

Cheers!  Grin

I purchased the type 2 for my 09 696.

I think you may be type 1.

I would just email them and ask. They responded to me same day.

Just look at the 2 photos and match it up to the cut out at the top of the stock cam.

anyone have one of these?  i was wondering if it makes a noticable difference in excelleration? the 620 is such a turd until its at 50% throttle for the track it would be nice to be able to pick it up quicker esp with my new lw flywheel for maxum excelleration.   bacon

I have read here that some people are using the G2 throttle tamer along with the fast cam. I think I might try this. With the tamer, you get smooth operation, but slightly less throttle at initial rotation. So in theory, by adding the fast cam, you would get the roataion back and get super smooth op. However, G2 is currently working on interchangable throttle cams for street applications. This would eliminate the need for the fast cam.

I got this because the wrist and/or elbow movement, in my opinion, is much too long.
Either my wrist was twisted at the end of throttle play or I had to loosen my grip and raise my elbow before gunning it.

It gave me much better control. Some say it makes the bike more twitchy (smaller inputs required), but that has not been a problem for me.

I'm using the Electaeon for the 696 with clipons.

much better on the wrist. smooth throttle is a light twist. so much better all around than stock with bars.

I agree, totally worth it. However I find myself speeding a lot more.  Evil

Does the fast cam have to be used with the G2 throttle tamer or can it be used with the stock throttle? From the pictures I can't see how its installed.
