I just got a Termi kit (side by side ver) for my S2R.  The pipes in front of the mufflers are 50mm OD and taper down to 40mm for the oem cat/udder pipes.  i would like to get a matching mid-pipe of the same diameter.  However, when I see pics of mid-pipes combined with Termis, the midpipes look to be the smaller 40mm.  Pics of the Termi mid-pipes appear to be the larger OD.  Can someone with a Termi mid-pipe give the OD measurement?   Are the other mid-pipes 40mm (Spark, Marving)?

Ok, I found the answers.   With a little digging around, the Spark/Marving mid-pipes are all 40mm for the full length.  At closer inspection of web images, the Termi midpipes start at 40mm to connect slip-ons and taper back up to 50mm for the rest of the pipes.  Also, it is a complete system and does not require the rear head pipe piece.  This, I assume, means the Termi rear head pipe will be also 50mm.  So, a full Termi and a full Arrow are both 50mm.  I'll be shopping for a Termi midpipe.

Thanks for the confirmations!!  So, all mid-pipes are not the same (OD).  Is the rear head piece indeed included and also 45mm?   Do you have the later version which has clearance for oil and filter changes?    How is the quality of the welds?

Cobrajet:  I saw that sale!  Too bad for me it was for your 800.  Smoking good deal!  I found the 1000 versions at Houston SBK for $500.  Better than the $700 everywhere else!   I'll get that and the re-flash.

Doing the Termi 4" chop soon!!

Yes the rear pipe is included and it also is 45 mm OD, very sweet pipe! The pipe for the front cylinder is outboard of the filter instead of the stock inboard location. Nice side benefit is a huge increase in ground clearance which is nice for me because I have a habit of blasting the dirt roads at highway speeds. Welds are fine, MIG not TIG though, unpolished and pipe is just bare T-304 with no plating. bill
