Nobody has qualifying up on Racing Underground. Maybe somebody will at least get superpole uploaded.

And what's the deal with the Ducati factory team? Just one rider, or two with different sponsorship?

technically speaking...there is NO factory team...Althea is the #1 "directly supported" satelite team...

I have a conspiracy theory that Ducati wanted to break the contract with Haga and Fabrizio. Disolving the team would be a way to do it.

There goes my conspiracy theory. Another theory I heard was that they were pulling out to force a rule change so that the Apes would be considered illegal.

less about considering the Ape illegal and more about getting set for the Superquadratta SBK to launch and hit the racing scene under the same circumstances as Aprilia....put a bike on the grid to race and get bikes out on the sales floor 6 months after it has seen racing action...but that is my own conspiracy theory.

Qualy is never posted on RU.

Superpole is on the capture schedule.

The Ducati money is going to the new bike development.  Rossi is getting most of his money through Marlborough and other sponsers. Ducati is still chipping in big time no doubt but not at the expense of another team. It's more of a new bike thing I'm sure.

That is awesome - a "non factory" duc on the pole.  Why couldn't factory muster this last year?

Damn, Haga in 14th! Yeah, I know it's early, give him time. It will be interesting to see how the Ape will run with normal chain drive cams like the production bike this year. No more gear driven goodness. Read in Sport Rider that it was making 221+ horsepower last year. I assume at the crank?? Huh? Can't wait for the season to start. As always, it's been a sucky off season. Bring it!! waytogo chug popcorn
