I thought it was $275, but either way, it's about half the price of rear sets isn't it?  ...if all you need is a little adjustability down there.

Same idea but much, much more affordable.

here's another for $139
http://www.monsterparts.com/p/16503013023/Adjustable+23mm+footpeg+system+for+Ducati+Monster.html

nice that it allows you the adjustment (esp. down), but be aware the adapter puts your feet out 1/2" of so

(I dont think the MFW link is the whole contraption...just one piece of it...)

You are correct. You buy the pegs, extenders and adjustment bit separate. Comes out to maybe $150 total.

I didn't know Monsterparts had a bit like this otherwise I would have suggested that instead.  chug

I emailed them this morning requesting an explanation of the differences between these pegs for $275 and the other 2 much cheaper ones posted in this thread.  Here's the response I got, just in case anyone is interested:

Ltes see how can I put it so you will see.
The difference between a Hasselblad and Nikon?
Levi's to Gucci?
;-)

The quality of Aella is pretty special. The links you sent shows me nice foot pegs but to me the quality looks good.
The style is different too.
It is really a matter of taste and budget

Let me know if you still want them
Regards

Hell : Find a local machine shop (smaller the better) that might need the work.  Tell them what you want and it would be a piece of cake for them to mill out the same for probably half the cost.   And you could tweek it for your fit.......The cost would be low especially if they thought they might get more bussiness from other riders if you explain that to them!

good point.  ...and I happen to have a great little local shop about 10 minutes from me.  I don't know why I didn't even think of it.  In fact, I recently used them to make some replacement pegs for my girls 50cc.
