Mag Clutch side case (and other mag part related questions)

i did have the Alt cover for the 696 but recently sold it.

If I would have kept it I certainly would have put an additional layer of coating on it, either clear coat or paint to protect the corrision-resistent coating.

It's so light it and feels like ceramic.

You'll have to use the top one that you have pictured.

Why's that? I'm trying to figure out the differences - with the oil fill plug, clutch cover bolt-hole location and oil pressure pickup are all the same...
