Everyone knows you can ALWAYS get a new phone and renew your contract at any time.

With ATT I'll get a renewal with a year left on a contract no problem.

Is that true? Currently I'm granfathered in on ATT's old unlimited data plan for $20 bucks a month. My Iphone is beat to shit and I want a new one, but I don't want to lose my old plan. Can I get a new phone without make the beast with two backsing up my contract.

they did it for me for the Iphone 4 and I still had a year left.  I think they are still offering the promotion now that Verizon has the phone too

Sure can.  They are keeping existing customers grandfathered on the data plan.  But, depending on what sort of usage you normally get, it might be cost effective to change.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Ordered the Vapor Extreme AR15 case tonite. I will report on it when it shows up.

Google AT&T unlimited data and see the posts. They are using it as a customer retention tool it looks like.

That they are. If you currently own an iPhone 4, simply call them and ask them to switch you. As DRKWNG mentioned, it might be cheaper to stay with the limited plan if you don't use that much data.

Funny you should ask, showed up today. (address malfunction). Not much too it, but you can set the
phone down without contact to the phone itself. Tiny little allen screws, took a min to get it on.

Makes the phone more comfortable in the hand.

Except they are $600 to replace outside of a contract renewal.

also in aus you can exchange your busted iphone for $250
i dont care if you have been a mechanic for 10 years doing something for a long time does not make you good at it, take my gf for an example shes been walking for 28 years and still manages to fall over all the time.

Yeah, I don't know why it says that. The iPhone 4 is the same on the exterior for both carriers.

There are a few minor differences, mostly related to the location/orientation of the buttons on the side.

I sat it side by side to a friends, no difference that I could see.

Odd.  The reason the AT&T cases didn't work with the Verizon phone was supposedly due to the buttons being in slightly different positions.

The Vapor Pro looks interesting, but at $150 it should be bullet proof.
