Since I put OZ Racing wheels on, either I am giving unintended input to the bars when riding aggressively through turns or the bike is picking up pavement imperfections which is unsettling the bike slightly.  Yes, I'm using proper riding technique.  It is not a serious amount, the bike just doesn't feel quite as planted as I'd like.  I'd like to stop it and I think a damper would help.

As the only thing you've changed is the wheels, have you readjusted the suspension to accommodate the lighter moving mass?

I'm no suspension expert, but wouldn't it now be a little over-damped (and stiffer), causing a rougher, less-planted ride?

maybe an 848 top mount would work for me?

You have sbk forks.  Everything else is the same, just remove te plastic cover that goes infront of the ignition, and grind down the ignition mount until it fits.  Works perfect for an aftermarket triple and clipons.

I have never had a top mount, but prolly end up with this "retail for a top mount is only $525 and that's before your 10% forum member discount". Just don't know about some of the issues I have read about around access to the ignition.

Kyle Racing does not make it for an 1100s (per email reply before I started this thread)

If I could come up with a mount kit, I can make one from something else cheaper (I know cheap ass)
