@Triple J _ At the end of the day, I would agree. However, it’s something I always wanted to try and now I have. Now, it’s off to a professional.

Painting isn't hard to do. Making it look good is a different story.
Good job on trying

DP painted a carbon fiber windscreen for me -- the finish was beyond perfect, smooth as glass. Having a professional do that job was totally worth it.

Starting to really see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Rizoma Rearsets and Rear Brake reservoir went on tonight along with Driven 520 sprockets, DP sprocket flange, Speedymoto triples, Speedymoto clip-ons, Rizoma Sport line grips, DP bar-ends AND Brembo RCS brake and clutch master cylinders.

On a performance note, not sure if I have missed it:
Did you do the DP or NCR cams for the 1100?
And kind of directly related: Lightweight timing rollers kit? (The 4-pulley kit for layshaft pulleys and cam pulleys)
And kind of related because its lighter and spinning: the DP lightweight flywheel?
An 1100 motard with that stuff is bad ass.

You don't have to be rich to have something like this, I mean without looking to hard into it, I'd say this entire project could be done for around $30,000, which is about the same as a mid level Toyota, and I know which one I would rather have.
In fact, when all is said and done, my Monster will have less than $20,000 into it, initial bike purchase, carbon wheels/rotors, etc... all included.

if you put it that way, but its still a luxary item. If i had $20k i wouldnt spend it on a bike. Im not financially stable enough to drop it on toys. Id keep keep it for a rainy day/invest it in something i need. etc.
But if you DID, yea i picture my dream bike would only cost like 25k even with bling bling parts.
But isnt that how much a bridge from new york to italy cost anyway?

Just to interject a little perspective...
I paid less than 30K for my first house.
Just sayin'

Meh, clearly the OP can afford the indulgence
. And I'm enjoying watching this well bankrolled collection of exclusive, high-cost components assemble itself into what promises to be an incredible sight. Looking forward to seeing what that fully ceramic coated exhaust looks like against the finished article.
