Truth
Hopefully this attracts some pretty cool builds. It's an excellent platform, but not too much has been done with it yet.
I will be dissapointed if it ends up as just some simple bolt-ons and paint.

I was thinking the same thing about the stitching. Anyone know anyone who could re-stitch it?
Give Corbin (
http://www.corbin.com/california.shtml
) a call. Since they have a facility down in Hollister it would be easy to drop off. Hell they might even do it for free as a promo so they can add it to their resume "Involved with Project Bike from DNA".

Unless someone cracks the case and bumps the 1100 to a 1200 with TI internals... I assume it will be bolt ons and paint. But, with the voting being based on pictures... I doubt that would make much difference.

100mm pistals is the 'between-er', requiring just a bore from 98-to-100mm to the cylinders
While not required, it woudl certainly be advised to split the cases for a balanced (and lightened while you are at it) crank - which really isn't that spendy, add some beefier rods, and enjoy the results.

And if you're thinking NCR, you bore the cases on that one to have thicker walled cylinders than a big-bore'd cylinder would.... and they've apparently got a 1300 kit in the works.

That is what I was thinking... and a 1300 would just be stupid. Fun, but stupid.
