So I have the 41mm FCR kit installed and am trying to put on some Rizoma sport line grips.  That means I can't use the plastic throttle insert that comes with the FCR kit, the Rizoma grips have adapters that attach to the grip and go inside the housing in order to hook up the cables.  The problem is the Rizoma plastic bit is incredibly flimsy, I already broke one and have one more try to get this right, it comes with two.  The plastic cam section on the supplied plastic part for the FCR kit is very beefy.
Does anybody have experience with anything like this, or am I SOL and can't use my Rizoma grips?
Thanks!

I have experience with FCRs, but not Rizoma parts. Have you checked out the Rizoma Lux thread?

Another victim of Rizoma's shitty throttle cam?  Dont feel bad, you're not the only sucker.

More of us here  >>  Just How Shitty Are Rizoma Grips Built?

And again here  >>  Rizoma Lux Grips

So, I'm a firm believer in the quality of Rizoma's grips.....

Ah good, well at least I know I'm not doing anything wrong... other than ordering pretty stuff that isn't built very well.
