Thanks all for coming out - a bigger party than I expected (in a good way), and one that left me with tons of beer and 20$ + change I didn't have when the races started. Maybe I can quit my job...

Ah, it's good in the internet age to be able to put a name/face with a screen name. Glad to meet you and thanks for the use of the living room. Enjoy the beer (the Blind Faith turned out to be pretty good, it was a trial run for me) and look forward to future shenanigans.

Next time I'll make sure to prep my videos for Windows beforehand so I'm not hacking the Pentagon from your living room floor.
Every time I meet a new group of your friends that understand you and your weird sense of humor I'm a little more amazed that there are other people in the world like you that lived through childhood - My loving girlfriend

WSBK is at Assen this Sunday.   [thumbsup]
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Wooo hoo, let's see Biaggi and Melandri break out the guns! I'll bring my lupara.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

I'm thinking Melandri is going to Max's undoing this year.

Definitely a good chance - Marco has the motivation after Max's "slap", and now I'm rooting for Melandri. I thought the Roman Emperor had mellowed a bit, but apparently not.

Anyone know what the air time on Speed is?

What about this restaurant that was mentioned, or does someone want to host?

The weather on Sunday looks good, maybe on the coolish side.

I think I'm going to be out riding, as I'll be out of town on the next weekend.

Will be watching the racing afterwards though...

I am going to be finishing up the event I am crew-ing this weekend...so I am more likely to watch the races on the DVR either Sunday night or Monday night...

WSBK is 5-7 PM. AMA Supercross at 2PM, too.

BTW, Caps game is at 3PM and _should_ be over by the time the race starts.

tocino

Well I don't mind hosting another 8pm-ish viewing at my place, could possibly do 7pm and get in the Superstock race too.

Works for me, how many beers do we need to bring over?  [laugh]

I still have 20 from the last time!

Say what you want about CAM folks and their waitress-offending-olive-demands but they don't show up to a party without bevies!

And we've got a whole damned bar!  I'd be happy to bring anything over, but I am on kid duty tomorrow night and I"ve got a 10K tomorrow morning that I"m quite sure I"ll be recovering from.
Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing; however, they can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Sorry folks, I gotta bail on hosting racing tomorrow night. I will be sure to save all those beers for next time - I promise  ;)
