Beware, a friend of a friend of the DMF in the Bay Area just recently encountered an impound fee (in San Mateo) of over $8K.
So it'd suck to buy a "bargain" bike only to realize you just purchased the rights to a huge impound fee.
They bought it out of impound. And yes, that was indeed the bike. 50,000 miles on it, but they were asking a ridiculous sum. I'd stay away from it.
