I had a friend once tell me, "the ducati is like a beautiful woman trying to run in High heels. The Suzuki (his preferred ride) is like Michael Johnson ... Ugly but Effective.". Same thing with the BMW (although I would ask that you check out The red / white / blue in person before judging).

I've seen it. Friend of mine on Oahu has that bike. I've put about a hundred miles on one and walked away unimpressed.

I had a friend once tell me, "the ducati is like a beautiful woman trying to run in High heels." I think H.S. Thompson had put it more correctly: "the Ducati is like the magic bullet in Dallas that went sideways and hit JFK and the Governor of Texas at the same time."

In sport mode perhaps? Frustrating throttle response. Race mode is impressive, IMHO.

Those must have been mainland miles ........ Takes a lot to impress you it seems I'd still go with the SP just because it looks so good and it sounds so mean.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori. Good people drink good beer. Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.
It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level. Everything else is just fluff.
