Thanks, I'm going to take you up on that offer.  Not exactly sure yet on the timing though.  Will let you know when I've got a solid plan.

Does anyone happen to have a Baxley wheel chock I can borrow?  Will come get it if so   Grin

You can use mine. Just let me know and I'll dismount the kraut bike. M is still on couch duty so there should be someone home all day.

O.K. tomorrow a.m. I'm going to borrow a wheel chock from Will (thanks very much!) then I should be able to start dismantling everything by noon.  It's not a complex job so I would think I can start trying to fit the new pipes by 2 or so.

Of course I'm not factoring in any time for cleaning every single part in sight... as is my custom  bang head  laughingdp

So, I'll still be at it Saturday for sure  bang head  In fact, if you want to come over on Saturday morning or afternoon and help or just supervise, we'll have burgers and brats out on the grill.

PM me if you would like directions  Grin

Got the stock exhaust off with no issues.  Here are some progress pix:

2004 999 Base Version

Note: Even though there are Termi stickers on the carbon fiber exhaust cover,
the exhaust system is stock 999
